I think it was a nice day despite our little incident. What about you? I know canoeing and camping are not exactly your favorite activities. I still hope that you enjoyed it somewhat?
Yes. It is peaceful on the river. Camping is just not my thing. We have so many comforts in the city that it’s a shock to have to cook and sleep with so little comfort. Occasionally, we camp to make Ha happy, but if it were up to me, I would pass.
I know that it has been difficult for you lately. You have a lot on your shoulders. I gave you many responsibilities. Maybe I’m pushing you too much. You know that I believe in you and want what is best for you, don’t you?
A few days ago, I met your former director from G-Technologies; he asked after you. He thinks very highly of you. I was proud to tell him that your team developed the V5030. I also shared that I worry about you because you are under a lot of stress — that I worry about your mental health.
He said that you are a fantastic scientist, but he can understand that leadership could be a challenge for you. I reassured him that I totally support you and believe in you; that I will do everything that I can for you to succeed. I will help you overcome this difficult time, Flo. Your mental health is my priority. I really hope this adventure helps you.
You worry about my mental health? And you said that to my former director! What are you doing to my reputation?
I just want to help you, Flo. He likes you, and he also wants the best for you. It helps me to have advice from your former director. It’s to better help you. You know that I love you like my child.
I don’t want that sort of help! I’m not your child, and my mental health is excellent, by the way!
I know you don’t see it now, but you will thank me later.
