It’s so sad, Ré’s accident.
It’s very sad — after losing so many, why that again?
But more than our loss, the loss of our friend, it’s a great loss for all of us, all the survivors!
He was our leader. The survivors need a leader to bring them together. To give them hope for the future.
Ben, d’you realize that I need you? You understand better than anyone else the challenges we are facing. You always stay calm and find solutions to every issue.
I can take over Ré’s role with the public and in mobilizing people, but I also need to count on you to succeed with this grand challenge. Can I count on you?
Ki, you do see what I do. You see that I have at heart the desire to rebuild our society. You can be sure I’ll continue to do this with all my strength, with or without Ré. We’re all that’s left of zumianity. We need to work together if this is to succeed. Don’t be fooled — it won’t be easy!
I know. This is why I need you. We need to work hand in hand. Our brains need to be one. If we stay close and aligned with each other in all the circumstances, only then do we have a chance to give back a world to our people.
Can you promise to be there all the way with me? I promise to bring you all the people you need to make this happen.
Ki, we’ve been working together for years; I promise I’ll continue being who I am. Don’t worry, we’ll succeed. We’ll succeed together.
I hear this as a yes, Ben. You’re precious to me. I’m happy you are there with me for this great mission!
