I speak of our need for the latest gadgets, for being up to date with the latest fashion, for knowing what our TV stars think and say, for the ego bickering of our politicians, and all the like.
Ben, that’s life! We’re not animals. It may be fun to go into the wild for a few days, but we’re so much more than that. We are beings with a higher consciousness of the existence of the universe!
I don’t know what those artificial needs have to do with the universe. In the greater scheme of things, they seem futile. It’s just a creation of our minds.
Life would be boring without these worries and creations of our minds. They are what permitted the creation and invention of all that we enjoy today.
